During this activity I had to catch all the multiples of 2 such as 2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16,18,20,22,24, ...

I found this activity very fun because it's a game.

Similes and Metaphors

   Reflection

During this activity I had to figure out which of the sentences are similes and metaphors as well as writing my own similes and metaphors.

Puzzle Pics Fractions

During this activity I was learning how to use fractions on a number line and with shapes I also had to match the fractions with witch ever shape it goes with.

I found this activity a bit challenging because I am not that good at fractions.

Marine Reserves

Reflection

In this activity I had to list stuff that i know, I wonder,I think and what experience I have For Marine reserves.

This activity was fun because I learned a lot of new things about Marine Reserves and what you can and can't do in a Marine Reserve

If I did this activity again I would probably write more of what I know and how much experience I have with Marine Reserves.

Explaining Fractions

WALT use fractions of a set.

In this activity I had to summarize what Proper,Improper and Mixed fractions are

 I felt confused on what I had to do until I got help by people in my class.

I thought this task was really Fun.

Next time I do this  I will know more about fractions so I can write all of the new stuff onto my new fraction slide.

Reflection

WALT  Add and Subtract from Small numbers to Big numbers.

I found it easy because we learn about adding and subtracting from tens to tenths hundreds to hundredhs and thousands to thousandths

Making and Breaking Numbers

We were learning about the different ways to make the number 12. We were using different equations and we were looking for patterns to help us be successful. We were learning this to help us learn strategies in the future. I felt excited and proud about this learning because I was able to find a lot of ideas. By finding the pattern it was easier to get more ideas. Next time I could use higher numbers so I can extend my knowledge.

Reflection

WAL to understand the purpose of characters in the text.

 We found the similarities and differences between ourselves and Jesse. This helps us understand the story more because I know some of the things that Jesse feels.

Feelings Poem

I was learning how to make a feelings poem. 

I felt confused because  didn't know witch feeling to chose for my poem.

The tricky part was when I had to think of what to write for my 5 senses.

My next steps are to write more than 1 sentence for each sense

Inferencing

I was learning to make Inferences and I was finding the meaning of Implicit and Explicit.

I felt confused because I didn't know who was the girl and who was the boys.

It was tricky because the questions were confusing.

My next steps are to try and use more red ticks and crosses.

My Teacher for 2018 is Mrs Graham 

I am now a year 6 student at Em Park School.

My classroom is now room 16.

My goals for 2018 is to get smarter and more confident.

I am looking forward to doing some maths and learning more than I already know.

I am looking forward to doing PE and playing Sports.
