During this activity I was learning how to use fractions on a number line and with shapes I also had to match the fractions with witch ever shape it goes with.
I found this activity a bit challenging because I am not that good at fractions.
We were learning about the different ways to make the number 12. We were using different equations and we were looking for patterns to help us be successful. We were learning this to help us learn strategies in the future. I felt excited and proud about this learning because I was able to find a lot of ideas. By finding the pattern it was easier to get more ideas. Next time I could use higher numbers so I can extend my knowledge.
WAL to understand the purpose of characters in the text.
We found the similarities and differences between ourselves and Jesse. This helps us understand the story more because I know some of the things that Jesse feels.
