MY REFLECTION
My Reflection: I was learning to write, plan and present a persuasive speech. My success criteria were: - I have an introduction, conclusion, and three paragraphs each giving a reason to support my main argument - each of my paragraphs are at least three sentences long - I have researched and included facts to back up my argument - I speak loudly and clearly to my audience - my speech is between 2 and 3 minutes long I think I achieved my success criteria because I did Get the work finished. Next time I write or present a speech I will need to work on not getting stage fright and not move around. I think I did well at my paragraph 3 and my intro because I think those were the best for me because they were the most interesting.

Stuart Little Character Trait Activity.

MY REFLECTION
My Reflection I.a.l.t relate to the characters in the text to understand their purpose. In this activity I had to connect how Stuart acts and how it relates to me. My success criteria for this activity were: • I am able to talk about characters and their behaviors • I am able able to describe and explain character traits with examples from the text • I can use relationship diagrams to show how characters relate and interact with one another I think I achieved this activity because I got it finished quick and I like it. My next steps in Reading are to try and do better and faster and to do different words and different sentences.

My Reflection

I was learning to express time on analogue clocks, digital clocks, and words. In this activity I had to tell the time that the clock showed and see what words for it was. I think I achieved this activity activity because I finished it and I am happy with it. My next steps in learning time are to tell 24 hour time.

Vendiagram Fairy tales.

My Reflection: I have been learning to compare a traditional and fractured fairytale. I found this easy because all we had to do was put the same things in the middle and put the different ones in the correct circle In this activity I had to read the normal story and the fractured story and compaire them together.
My next steps in my writing are to think of more detail in the story and write it in the next vendiagram.

I was learning to choose the most efficient strategy to solve addition and subtraction problems.

One day I went home and there was a man sitting on the couch then I saw a cat walking into the house. It looked at me then it jumped onto the mans head the cats claws crunched into the mans hair I tried to tell him that theirs  a cat on his head but he didn't care. So then I scared the cat and then the cat jumped again and rips the man's hair right of his head he didn't fell anything. Then I noticed the cat's head in the roof I tried pulling it out but it didn't work so I told the man and then man pulled the cat out of the roof.

I am learning to use images and Maori patterns to depict our pepeha.
We did drawings first then we had to go over it in vivid then we had to rub all the pencil lines out then we had to colour it in.

My Reflection I am learning to read independently for sustained periods of time.
I found it tricky to find out the names in chapter 2,3 because I was doing the same names again and again.

Welcome to my year 4 learning blog. this year I am in room 15 and my teacher is Miss Massey. I enjoy  doing Maths,Reading. This year I am looking forward to be moving up more levels I hope you will enjoy my blog and leave lots of feedback.
