Subtraction by Splitting Numbers



I can split numbers to help me subtract. First I subtracted 20 but I forgot to add one back on. Next time I will have to think carefully about adding or subtracting one.

You have used your basic facts to split numbers into parts. You have also tried to use the strategy of rounding and compensating.Well done.
